 How to Set your Browser's Home Page

This document will tell you how to set your own home page for your browser.

When you double-click on the icon of your web browser, that web browser automatically opens a specific page every time, called your home page. Your home page can be set to any page you'd like, as well as a blank page if you prefer.

This tutorial will show you how to set your home page to the homepagesearch.org, but you can use it to set any web page you'd like, by replacing the address homepagesearch.org with the address of your favorite website.

   pera Users:

  1. Copy the below website address
    http://www.    webmysearch.com
  2. to set the Home Page click on "Tools" frame of the browser and choose "Preferences"
    on "General" in the "Home Page" type on the top left.
  3. Delete the contents in the "Home page" field, then paste the copied website address
    Click Ok.

   FireFox Users:

  1. Copy the below website address
    http://www.webmysearch.com
  2. Click the "Tools" menu in the top & then click on "Options..."
  3. Click on the "Main" image on the top left
  4. Delete the contents in the "Home page" field, then paste the copied website address
    Click Ok.

   Safari Users:

  1. Copy the below website address
    http://www.webmysearch.com
  2. In the top menu, Click "Safari" & then find and choose "Preferences...".
  3. When the preferences page loads, click on the "General" icon.
  4. Delete the contents in the "Home page" field, then paste the copied website address
    Close the preferences page.

  Chrome Users:

  1. Copy the below website address
    http://www.webmysearch.com
  2. Click the Wrench looking icon in the top right corner & then Click "Options"
  3. In the Homepage Section on the middle, Select the "Open this page:" option and then paste the copied website address
    Click the Close button.

   Internet Explorer Users

     1.  Open up the Internet Explorer program.
     2.  From the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen, choose "Internet Options...".
     3.  Find and choose the "General" tab.
     4.  Delete the contents in the  "Address" field, then copy/paste
          http://www.webmysearch.com
         Click the OK button.
